YOUTH GROUPS
Many young people do not have the opportunity to be active in the outdoors other than perhaps on the sports field. We take children and young people on needs-based, tailor-made experiences where they can have fun and socialise with peers while undergoing personal development and growth.

Most camps are conducted at Ballot's Bay Bundu Camps near George, but an array of options is available.

The following are some of the experiences that we use during facilitation:

Activities: absailing, hiking, rock climbing, wave rafting, kloofing/canyoning, mountaineering, wilderness trips, river rafting, trekking, initiative course, learning games

Environments: sea, rivers, waterfalls, caves, indigenous forests, mountains, nature reserves, wilderness areas

Environmental education: Hands-on studies of intertidal zones, alien and indigenous vegetation, geomorphology, birds, insects and mammals can be offered

It is important to know that we work with achievable goals, thus designing programmes in such a way that all participants are able to attain such goals.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
A thoughtfully designed initiatives course, wilderness trips, hikes and learning games are employed to become the metaphor for leadership development in both young and old. Social organisation, decision-making and problem-solving skills form a natural part of the programmes presented. Leadership is not taught in an academic "talkshop" fashion, but through a practical, participatory approach.

SOCIAL ISSUES
One of the aims of establishing this area of learning is to facilitate the countering of issues such as prejudice, "existential confusion" and lack of self-esteem within participants. We attempt to build our community and our nation through harnessing the strengths of different peoples and the power inherent in understanding and respecting individual and group differences. Get Out Expeditions have already successfully facilitated social issues experiences for international and multi-national groups.

SPIRITUAL MATTERS/RETREATS
When people have moved away from their relationship with their Creator there is no better place to once again meet with Him than in nature, or as we like calling it, "God's garden". We cater for retreats as well as address spiritual matters by employing experiential learning principles and techniques where selected as a course option.
