| CORPORATE GROUPS It is during times of challenge that we really draw near to other people. This is one of the principles we use when facilitating teambuilding events. Perceived stressors and demanding situations become tools in growing closer to one another, recognising individual strengths and harnessing such knowledge to achieve team goals.
Team members get to socialise and work together under situations differing from those at the workplace. Goals and positions are altered and, while they are having fun, team members gain new perspectives on one another and bond in a special way.
TEAM BUILDING Experiences are not just left to be dealt with by everyone in their own way. Team members are debriefed in order to facilitate learning and group understanding as well as build cohesiveness and team spirit. Such experiential learning forms a core part of all programmes - they are only excluded on request.
A psychologist is also available as part of any programme if required. The two psychologist that Get Out Expeditions use has vast experience and knowledge regarding team-centered work.
Accredited experts on personality profiles can also be engaged for multi-day events. This is an area that is often neglected, but we believe it to be a valuable tool in building understanding, co-operation and better workplace relations, which in turn increases productivity and enables smoother operations.
EVENTS We refer to teambuilding experiences without the debriefing components as corporate events. In such instances, the team takes part in the activity for fun or as an adventure. As with all our programmes, these are tailormade to fit client needs and participants’ competencies, ages and restrictions.
The following are some of the possible activities you could choose from:
Activities: kloofing/canyoning, absailing, rockclimbing, mountaineering, wilderness trips, wave rafting, white water rafting, paintball, 4X4 teambuilding excursions Mini Olympics: beach days, alternative olympics, the great corporate games challenge, team challenges
